2025 - Update on installing eOS on Samsung Galaxy S10e

Hello. A little update on how to easily get e/os working on S10e.

Tidying up some outdated issues found on the web.

Get your Samsung Stock Software updated. (Power device on, connect to wifi, finish setup as fast as possible. Let the system install all system updates iteratively.)

Unlock bootloader in developer options. (Keep in mind the “date trick” if the OEM option is currently unavailable.)

Boot to bootloader manually. Not adb. In most up-to-date Stock-Rom this is not involving the power button. Power off. Disconnect USB. Hold Volume-down an bixbie. While holding, connect USB. Voila.

Unlock bootloader as described on the bootloader screen.

Boot to Stock-System. Connect to wifi, and quick complete the setup.
Thus the bootloader will completly be unlocked via server-side double-check.

  1. There you go.
Proceed with installing recovery and main e/os-System as described in the main manual.

Have fun.
