I really like /e/OS so far, but TBH, I don’t like Bliss Launcher that much. On my phone (Pixel 5), I’m able to replace this with Lawnchair without any issues. But on my Samsung Tablet S6 Lite, it’s very broken.
If I set Lawnchair (or anything for that matter) as the default Home app, Bliss will start freaking out and crashing every 2 seconds. You’ll see the buttons at the bottom of the page showing and closing instantly and it’s jarring. I have to uninstall Bliss with adb to get it to stop. But the issue is that when I try to hit the button to navigate to the apps that are running, it doesn’t show them. Only the home and back buttons work. I try the Gesture navigation and it won’t allow me to see what’s running either.
Kind of a pain where this doesn’t happen on my phone at all. My only gripe with my phone is that on Lineage I could do 2 button system navigation but it doesn’t work right in /e/OS (it’ll do the same thing when I can’t see what apps are running if I swipe up).
Is there something that can be done for these navigation issues? I’d even use Bliss on my tablet, but it isn’t a great experience (I know this is being worked on, but having the system navigation buttons pushed off to the side just feels gross)
I also don’t see it in Android 13 (T), I did not check a recent build before posting, sorry. I guess maybe the Trebuchet parts have now been fully absorbed into Bliss. e / os / android_packages_apps_Trebuchet · GitLab
I searched my phone for “launcher” under system apps. I find foundation.e.blisslauncher.overlay. For me it has storage of 0B. Maybe you have different on your tab.
