ADAC Drive: navigation mode not working

Hi there!

I have a problem with the mentioned app “ADAC Drive”.

The app itself works pretty well, but when it start the navigation mode my current position doesn’t update.
If I leave navigation mode and change my position (for example when using a train) the position updates on the map correctly.

Any ideas?!

Used phone: Pixel 8 with official build /e/OS 3.0.4.

can’t get the App to install and check myself. How I approach missing App functionality:

  • check if the app(id) has an entry at microGs issue tracker
  • look at adb logcat while using the function that fails and copy error messages / stacktraces
  • search their main message (first line of stacktrace, usually something with “Java…Exception” at microg again for matching app entries. If none are found, create an entry (example)
