The problem seems to be that Proton VPN is draining the battery and, more problematic, it might be why the phone is burning in my pocket…
Tried clearing the cache of proton app?
So far I had used Proton VPN on my phones, last one Motorola RAZR 2022 for 3 years and never had problem with that app’s battery usage, always civilised. I wonder what the problem here is, I have kill switch on and Fastest Country set up. Have You tried re-installing, do get regular upgrades - I get mine through FDroid where I got it from I think. It looks odd on your phone report to be 46% really… Sorry to see it - maybe try contacting Proton VPN support if they have any suggestions? It could be a good idea…
