Affiliate / "Franchisee" / 3rd Party Reseller Program?

I am in the USA and have been a fan of /e/ for some time. I know that we really need an alternative to the “big 2” phone systems, one that respects the individual.

What I am wondering is if there is any possible affiliate or “franchisee” program that Murena or /e/ may have for resellers selling non “official” refurbished phones with /e/ preinstalled. I am looking to set up a shop selling used Pixel devices outside the models officially available for sale (So the “a” series and the “Pro” series Pixels). I would also make available a “bring your own device” service to flash it to /e/ for the customer (before a customer sends it to me I would confirm it is unlocked and has an available build). In all cases, I would make clear to buyers these are not “official” devices from Murena or /e/ but that I am essentially providing the flashing service for the non-technical user. To contribute back, I would look to donate back to /e/ 10% of my profits, and would encourage users to consider a paid cloud subscription.

So is there any precedence or any model for partnering in this way?

If anyone comes to this thread late, Murena did get back to me from my helpdesk inquiry. For now I will keep it “small and independent” with my own branded shop selling devices pre-flashed with /e/. I am working on a website, www.openmobile.us but it is not yet online.

Depending on how things go, Murena may expand their offerings in the US in the future and then at that time we could discuss further how to proceed. My goal is to collaborate with /e/ not to compete! We need to keep growing momentum in providing a viable alternative!
