App indicator for messenger (number of unread messages on the app icon)

Hello,
is there a way to show the “app indicator” for messenger apps like telegram oder whatsapp ?
To show the number of unread messages over the app icon?
I didn’t find that setting yet.

Hi, Yes there is.

  1. Check that notification dot is toggled ‘on’ in the settings: Settings > enter ‘dot’ in search bar and go to the setting.
    2.Enable notification access for the launcher you are using:Settings > enter ‘not’ in search bar > select ‘notification access’ twice > Tap your launcher (ie Bliss Launcher) > Toggle Allow

This depends hardly on the launcher. Not every launcher shows numbers.
