After updating to /e/OS 3.5 a couple of days ago the app links are broken.
For example, a link to a Amazon Prime Video entry inside a browser offers to open the app, I see a frame appearing, flashing and closing again, the entry reopens in the browser like if the system thinks the browser is the Amazon App after the app link failed to get opened.
The same occurs for links to other apps.
Cleaning all (!) app caches with the Cache Cleaner app did not help.
Finding out that now - after the OS update - I have to manually add one or two entries to the allowed links list for the apps and doing so did not help.
Rebooting the phone did not help.
Updating to /e/OS 3.6-beta.2 did not help - in my “naive” assumption it’s already been fixed.
I get the strong feeling that every /e/OS update bricks the phone slice by slice until I need a new phone. And I assume that will not be a Fairphone again, this odyssey ends then.
But until then I really want a working phone. I am convinced that this expectation is not too much to ask. I don’t want to be another incapacitated adult and victim of a once promising company.
