App Loung faild to connect with child account

I installed Murena on Pixel 3a for my 14-year-old child. App Lounge advised me to log in with a Google account, so I created a child account for him, but I failed to set up this account on App Lounge, which asked me to restart the services.
I could connect to app lounge using my Google account.

Why do you need an account to be connected in App Lounge?

It is not clear here what your intention is

Google account is not needed in AppLounge or AuroraStore,
it is their interest !

for those unaware: AppLounge recommends to use a dedicated Google Account to go easy on the token dispenser (anonymous mode).

@saveurlinux possibly is a legit bug, imo not something yet accounted for. I’d use the anonymous mode until you see authentication issues

Ohhh, I see. I stopped using AppLounge for the lack of features some time ago. Never seen that information about it.

Exactly
Also because the phone is for my child and I would appreciate the use of something as family link are something like that

parental control can observe the PEGI rating of AppL entries, but it isn’t connected to the google account used. There’s still many bugs (see the tag), but it’s being actively worked on. If the merges make it, v3.3 will fix some loopholes.

In terms of “migration story” it’d be probably worth it to report the child-account issue in the backlog.
