As title, for the last week i have been unable to open App lounge on my new Fairophone 6 . i’ve taken a gamble on this as i am not techy and realise it may be too much for me. My FP 3 just worked forever and still is. I didn’t need to ask for help or any trg
The thing you could do is: go into Settings, Apps, search in the list for “App Lounge” and clear it’s cache there. Probably it’s a good idea to clear also the entire storage of the app. After this the app is virgin, this means: exactly as before the first start. When you start the app now it should open as expected and you should be requested to perform a new (anonymous) login.
I press the buttons for clear cache and the storage button but they just grey out and nothing happens. When I reopen I get to Accept conditions. Next I get the welcome page and I click on Stay Anonymous. The Home page remains blank, Categories says Error Occurs whilst loading Apps. Search says web Apps unavailable. In settings all boxes are.ticked. I am.connected to internet WiFi as I am typing this now.
I do have an icon on the top next to my wireless connection sign. On its left. It is a round circle with a diagonal line through it. I pull the drop down down from the top but I can’t see anything that looks like it. Line goes top left to bottom right. Version says 2:17.1. I turn my phone off every night so gets re started. been like this for two weeks now, thank you for continued support.
Thank you for all the help, i have fixed it. App lounge had lost internet permission to open.
I used a previous fix from someone. I had to add the internet connection to App lounge. as below.
I found a solution ! I think that message from @MIB made my ears ring.
By a mysterious action, the internet access to all the app was drop during update.
To solve it, you must go into “setting” → “apps” choose an app to witch you want add the internet connection “app info” → “mobile data usage” → and enable “allow network access”
