There is no way to turn off the notifications for app-lounge. Will this be fixed some day or will I have to use another app store?

What forced notifications? What do they say?
Apps updates. All of them. You have twenty apps to update, you get twenty notifications after the updates have been installed.
There’s a setting in App Lounge: Show available updates. Uncheck this and App Lounge is quiet.

Well, this is weird. I thought that notification was to inform us when new updates were available but it never worked. It works only when I open the app… and I totally forgot about it.
Hopefully, deactivating it will work as you say. 
It works. I never has any notification from App Lounge for years since 95% of my apps come from F-Droid. And two or three others come from Aurora.

I have my App lounge set to not automatically update my apps. So when there is an update I get notified. Then depending on the App I do the update.
If you turn automatic updates on it will just update the app but not notify user until after the update is done. This is why I trun automatic update off so I can be notified and then do the update as I choose.
It’s turned off.
So if automatic updates are off you will get notification, when it is on you are not notified and they just update.

No longer working. Show available updates IS disabled and I’m getting the stupid notifications! Again!

What if you long press on the notification ?
App updates is ON, not OFF. The gray color is one of the new idiotic achievements of modern Android versions.

“Update apps automatically” is always off. It was off, “show available updates” was off and I didn’t receive notifications after updates were installed, until today. Now, with the same settings, I do.
Sorry I forgot to mention it’s the after updating apps notifications I’m after.

I don’t talk about “update apps automatically”. Your screenshot shows the notification settings of App Lounge. And four settings are ON.
OK, on my device they’re also like this. But I have “show available updates” OFF, this is a setting in the App Lounge app itself. So it’s always quiet, I have never a notification from it.
And what about the weel at top right ?

What’s the problem with posts being less than 20 characters now!?
A thing to bear in mind is that any time you Clear storage in App Lounge the settings go back to default. (This probably is “notification noisy” for any reasons given above, I guess you need to be fully aware of which notification is troublesome … something already happened, or something available.)
