App Lounge installs fail at 100% - FP6 Android 15

Device: Fairphone 6
OS: /e/OS 3.7.3
Phone came with /e/OS pre-installed from Murena.

App Lounge downloads apps to 100% but then silently fails to install.
The app just goes back to showing “Update” or “Retry” as if nothing happened.
This affects both updates and new installs.

What I’ve checked:

Install unknown apps: ON for App Lounge
Unused app settings: OFF for App Lounge
Issue persists after reboot
Aurora Store and F-droid have the same behavior
Briefly worked once then stopped

Is this a known bug in this build? Is there a fix or should I wait for the next update?

Most of the recent threads with hashtag app-lounge seem to have included fails associated with what I have loosely speaking described as a logjam seemingly caused by something “impossible” in the Update list.

The standard advice is based on the

App Lounge FAQ

Not all users have the same initial problem.
