App lounge not working - bad communication

Hi,

Since more then a week i cant use the app lounge and i dont see any communication about his while several others complain about it too.

When will this issue be solved? and i strongly recommend to communicate better what is working and what not. Since one and a half month i have a murena fairphone 5 but only experience troubles and the workspace isnt working for weeks and will not working for the next weeks too. This is a bad thing for existing and new users because the service offered is not met at all. I understand this project has its challenges, but the lack of communication is even making it worse…

Try Aurora store until App lounge gets fixed

Thanks for your advice. I guess i need the app lounge first to get the app? In case there is another way for which i need to do other stuff and more investigation i prefer to be patient and wait for the app lounge to work again.
I am more interested in better communication what works with e/os currently and what not and be transparant about when customers can expect a solution

The communication was an update of the troubleshooting guide – I think I saw this a week ago App Lounge Troubleshooting.

Or you install it via browser & f-droid

I use f-droid plus Aurora as alternatives to the app lounge.

I have read that one, but didnt help it actually got worse. Before i could see some apps, now just a blackscreen. A notifcation on that page, hey we are working on it would be more helpful. The solution to use google account make no sense to me.

Thanks. I am not that knowledgeable about alternatives, especially dont know the impact and if it is safe. I will wait till they fix it.

Buggy App lounge should allow installing FOSS apps such as Aurora; alternatively you can download the apk from https://aurorastore.org/

For mainstream apps → aurora.apk from https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.aurora.store/

For Open Sources apps → F-droid.apk from https://f-droid.org/

AppLounge is a combination of both…

I installed /e/os on my wife’s phone to be degooglized, but if we have issues very often, pretty not interesting…
