Since I few weeks I have been experiencing some trouble with downloading apps via AppLounge. Sometimes it wouldn’t start downloading. Just now I discovered that AppLoung does in fact only download apps if WiFi is deactivated.
I am at home. Wifi is working properly on all devices, i.e., I surfe the internet on my mobile via WiFi.
Choosing a random app in AppLounge …
Any ideas?

I have the same behaviour as you and I found out that it works using Wi-Fi by toggling airplane mode. (OFF (a few seconds) and then ON) and the downloads start, supposedly using the Wi-Fi though.
conflict should be system seeing it as a metered connection? if you inspect the wifi (gear icon) in network settings, what does it say? it would have the option to override too. This is an issue with VPNs too where it isn’t clear if running on to of unmetered wifi or metered mobile
This works for me also. It seems from other threads to be IPv6 problems via WiFi. It affects several apps like Garmin Connect, some of my email accounts in Thunderbird (but not others), Applounge, my AI…
All resolved for a short period by toggling airplane mode, or switching to 4G.
In wi-fi router(s) manual they usually suggest to toggle the Iv6 off if connection problems exist.
