TITLE:
AppLounge is replacing visible list of apps found in Category “Business” by totally different list of apps
PRECONDITION
- /e/ OS updated to latest version 3.5 available for Samsung Galaxy S8.
- AppLounge is using anonymous Google login replacement as offered by /e/OS.
- AppLounge: delete cache memory, delete app memory via system settings / memory.
- Open AppLounge, set it to use anonymous Google replacement login and browse to category business.
ACTION
(1) Category “Business” is listing a number of proprietary apps, such as “Google Chat”. Tap on entry in list to open info for this app.
(2) From app info screen return to previous screen (use leftarrow), i.e. return to list in category “Business”.
(3) Repeat steps 1+2: Again, tap “Google Chat” to open app info and return to “Business” list again.
OBSERVED BEHAVIOUR
(1) For a few moments the list is visible, but then suddenly replaced by a totally different list of apps not visible previously. All the entries are gone and replaced by open source (not sure about type) license apps. None of the apps previously visible is still there.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR
(1) Regardless how often we open “Google Chat” info screen and return to “Business” category list, there should always be the same apps visible and none should be hidden suddenly. List should not be replaced by a totally different list of apps.
ADDITIONAL INFO
- Behaviour can be reproduced with Google Chat and some others, but when it occurs it happens after initally viewing app info screen twice.
- Issue not reproducible with ALL entries in “Business” app list.
