I Successfully intalled /e/os 3.4-a15 using the /e/os Installer in Chrome.
SIM installed, Mobile Data indicator showed 5G with a “!” in the strength indicator. Applounge complained ‘No internet connection.” Other apps seemed to have some connectivity.
Solved, thanks to another user in the Murena Community.
This is what solved the issue: Settings → Network and Internet → SIMs → [my carrier] → Access Point Names → [I selected the APN “internet” instead of the ‘mobile’ alternative (in this case, the carrier’s name.)
First I had tried advice from web searches:
- turn airplane mode off and on; repeat - no effect
- reboot
- try a different SIM - no effect
- clean SIM and re-install - no effect
- (risky-sounding others, I didn’t try.)
