Hello, I am new with /e/OS and I just installed successfully e/OS on my new smartphone Samsung Galaxy A21s (e/OS 3.5 - community ) but unfortunately I face issues with the audio microphone when I receive or call somebody ; nobody can hear me. When I used micro handset, it works fine. Do you know if this issue is already known with e/OS and this model of phone ; how can I fix it ? Thank you for your help & support
It could be due to the lack of VoLTE. But then again, if audio works with an external microphone, maybe it’s something else. I had a similar problem with my Sony at one time, but it corrected itself when I switched to a different mobile service provider.

You could try to install LineageOS to see if the problem arises from the murena build or from a lack of driver.
Hello, I have an A21s also, I can asure you, that the microphone works fine for me. I also use a chinesse bt and it works ok, too.

Thanks for your reply ; I don’t know if it is possible for me to reinstall Android 12 in order to check if the micro works fine, and then retest a new installation of e/OS …As my first installation went well I expect the same behavior but we never know …

It is unclear to me if it is a hardware problem of your microphone or a software/driver problem, given that for me it just works.
How is recording (par example Audio Notes)?
Another thought is you could try to install another calling software. Something like lets say baresip+ and use a docker asterisk voip server for ip calling.
Or maybe use Audio Spectrum Analyzer, it is on f-droid, too
