So I just found out about the Aurora Services and F-Droid Privileged Extensions app. Basically, they are system apps that enable their respective store apps to install apps automatically in the background without having to prompt the user for it. I managed to install the Aurora Services App on my /e/ OS device with the ADB sideload package from the Aurora Services GitLab page, but apparently, the F-Droid one is deprecated for Android versions higher than 5.
Does anyone know whether there’s a simple way to install these services? And also, have there ever been plans to include them (possibly together with their respective store apps) in the default /e/ images?
