Na de update naar 4.0, kan ik niet inloggen in de authy app. Ik krijg een 403 melding. Voor de update kon ik er wel in en werkte alles prima. Is dit omdat ik google play nodig heb? En waarom werkt het nu niet meer en eerst wel? Ik heb een Samsung S9 en ben totaal niet technisch. De update zal wel nodig zijn geweest, maar ik was best tevreden hoe het met de vorige versie werkte. Weet iemand hoe ik de app wel kan activeren of moet ik op zoek naar een alternatief?
After the update to 4.0 I can not login to authy. The app gives a 403 reply. Before this major update, I could use authy without problems. What has changed? Ik raad altijd aan om opensource apps te gebruiken zoals Aegis of Proton Authenticator. Deze bevatten geen trackers zoals de Authy app en werken probleemloos zonder Google diensten.
Aangezien Authy geen Export/Import ondersteunt zal je wel manueel de 2FA tokens één voor één moeten overzetten. Zie hier :

Aegis can only automatically back up to the cloud if the app of your cloud provider is installed on your device and fully participates in the Android Storage Access Framework. Aegis doesn’t have access to the internet and we don’t have plans to change this, so adding support for specific cloud providers in the app is not possible.

Another common setup is to configure Aegis to back up to a folder on local storage of your device and then have a separate app (like Syncthing) sync that folder anywhere you want.
