Automatic dark design on Fairphone 6?

Does the automatic dark design (sunset to sunrise) actually work for anyone? It’s not automatically applied on my FP6…

Well, I know the setting, but it doesn’t work here.
At least it was not activated for the last two sunsets.

Just a shot in the dark: Does this require location? (Advanced Privacy might provide a fake location to it)

Good idea, but no, fake location is not activated.

I’ve had this problem on other devices.
At first, you have to “force” it to switch to day/night mode, then, after a few days, the device switches to the right mode by itself. I’ve never understood what’s causing the problem, but try this anyway.

Still no luck with this setting. Are there any FP6 users here where the automatic switching to dark/light mode works?

In the meantime, it started to work. I don’t know if I did something that helped. It seems to be as @stanwood said. It just starts to work at some point in time.

I have tried to active it with sunset and sun rising. Not working. Similar issue with night colours, doesn’t work.
