Dear /e/ team.

There are a lot of new and long time /e/ users who are not happy with the camera quality, just search the forums and other websites.

In this thread there are a few workarounds, such as installing Gcam, but to be honest this should NOT be necessary. A good quality camera is a must have for the vast majority of phone users.

I went to research the fairphone 6 as a Christmas present, and unsurprisingly the comment section of their website is full of praise for fairphone and /e/ but also full of disappointment with the camera.

Can the /e/ team please … please… for the love of god do something to improve the default camera experience!! It is crucial and long over due.

Why you don’t use the camera of Fairphone ? It’s possible now with the 3.2.

Does /e/ 3.2 solve the camera quality issues? Reading the reviews on the fairphone website there were 3 comments about camera just in August (which would be earlier than 3.2).

The GrapheneOS camera app actually is availabe in AppLoungr: just look for “secure camera”.
