Bliss launcher issue? GSI build / eos 3.5-a16 on Linovo M11 tablet

Let me start by saying that I’m running an unofficial GSI build on an unsupported device with a yet to be released e/os/ (Android 16), so I’m not complaining or looking for e/os/ to do anything with this. This is more of an informative post for @Colors and others.

Device: Linovo M11 Tab (TB330FU)

e/OS/ build: eOS-3.5-a16-20260218-microG-gsi (from @Colors)

Issue: Bliss launcher when using the swipe down search feature to find an an app will crash and restart as soon as you type a letter in the search box. The frequently (last used) apps show up below the search box and launch normally and clicking on the search box prompts the cursor and keyboard display as normal but Bliss crashes and restarts as soon as anything is typed in.

Try Lineage for comparison, or swap BlissLauncher for something else.

I loaded and switched to “Fossify launcher” tried the swipe up (on that launcher) typed in calculator and out worked as expected. Went back to Bliss and it crashed as before.

Edit: tried Ion launcher and LaunchTime as well both worked as expected.
