Hello,
I’m experiencing frequent call drops (with forced disconnection) on my Fairphone 6 running /e/OS 3.7 while using Free Mobile (France) in 5G mode. This issue only occurs while moving (e.g., in a car) on a route where I previously had no issues with other devices.
Key Details:
-
Device: Fairphone 6 (standard model, not FP6x).
-
OS: /e/OS 3.7.1.
-
Carrier: Free Mobile (France).
-
Network Mode: 5G (preferred), but calls are set to use 4G (VoLTE enabled).
-
Behavior:
-
Calls drop abruptly during movement, often with a forced hang-up (no reconnection attempt).
-
No issues when stationary or indoors.
-
No error messages displayed on the device
Questions:
-
Is this a known issue with Fairphone 6’s modem or /e/OS 3.7 in 5G/4G handover scenarios?
-
Are there hidden settings to improve handover stability?
