[Bug] Fairphone 6 on /e/OS 3.7: Frequent Call Drops in 5G (Forced Disconnection) with Free Mobile

Hello,

I’m experiencing frequent call drops (with forced disconnection) on my Fairphone 6 running /e/OS 3.7 while using Free Mobile (France) in 5G mode. This issue only occurs while moving (e.g., in a car) on a route where I previously had no issues with other devices.

Key Details:

  • Device: Fairphone 6 (standard model, not FP6x).

  • OS: /e/OS 3.7.1.

  • Carrier: Free Mobile (France).

  • Network Mode: 5G (preferred), but calls are set to use 4G (VoLTE enabled).

  • Behavior:

    • Calls drop abruptly during movement, often with a forced hang-up (no reconnection attempt).

    • No issues when stationary or indoors.

    • No error messages displayed on the device

    Questions:

    1. Is this a known issue with Fairphone 6’s modem or /e/OS 3.7 in 5G/4G handover scenarios?

    2. Are there hidden settings to improve handover stability?
