This issue should be resolved now. Pl test and let me know if there are still issues.
Does it require an OS update? Iām on 4.0. Created a new appointment, added email invite, but nothing was sent when I saved the entry to the calendar. Still not working?
ā¦it does appear to work for new calendar entries from the Workspace okay. Just not on the phone.
Something Iāve noted which might be related - appointments created in Workspace cannot be edited/amended in the Calendar app - only deleted.
Yeah, I just tested too. Creating a calendar event on the phone app with an attendee does not send the invite still.
Hello everyone,
I liked the 3 previous because I thought I was in the same case. In fact, I have some diferences:
Event created from the workspace: invitations are sent, the event synchronises with the app (1.0.47) but cannot be edited from the app.
Event crated from the app (1.0.47): invitations are not sent, the event synchronises with the workspace from which i can edit some parameters (but not all such as attendees or hours).
I understand that the invitation issue come from a communication problem between the app and the webserver, so I tried:
Creating an event from the app with the attendees list
Editing a parameter in the workspace (from ā9am-10amā to āall dayā)
I hpped the update from the workspace would send the invitation, but it did not ![]()
(I am a newbie in general, I am just starting a degoogleling process flashing /e/OS on a Pixel 8.)
For infoā¦.. Just tried with the 4.1 alpha build and invites still not working.
Hi @andywilliamsuk pl can you recheck if the invites get sent now.
Hi. Iām on 4.1 beta and invites still donāt appear to be working. Also notice that in the calendar app, Iām seeing an email alias I use listed by default for all my calendars - which doesnāt look right and Iām sure it wasnāt doing that before.
Hi @andywilliamsuk sending you a DM for some information required by the development team.
Have replied with photo via DM. Iām away on holiday at moment but will try to provide additional details as required.
Thanks for the details. Have shared it with the developer.
in this davx issue (āaccountmanagerā in /e/OS), it says the accountname device-side needs to match the set email in nextcloud / murena server-side: Calendar invites not sent when using 3rd party CalDav client Ā· Issue #17810 Ā· nextcloud/server Ā· GitHub .. also earlier up that issue
if youāre writing to your own calendar, but the organizer property doesnāt match the mail address defined in Nextcloud, invitations arenāt sent either.
Is that something we can change to start it working? Or is in some that needs fixing by the devs?
