I set the calender app to use a different ring tone for appointment notification. Since the OS upgrade to 2.5 on Saturday the app uses the phone’s default ring tone although the settings still show the tone I had set. Is this a general bug in the new version?
Issue is solved. There is an additional setting per calender which overwrites the app’s default settings. This setting was set to the phone’s default ring tone. After changing the calender setting the correct ring tone works again.
I still don’t understand why this happened with the OS upgrade. Is the calender specific setting new?
