I have a trip coming up to the US and want to get an eSim. Any recommendations? I looked at one site, (MobileX), but my IMEI returned a non configurable response for my FP5.

It all depends on whether you need a local U.S. number or not, how much data you typically use, duration of your trip, etc.
BTW, MobileX apparently uses the Verizon network, which has always been generally restrictive, at first due to their network specs, and now “just because.” 
You want an eSIM that roams on T-mobile USA and AT&T networks instead.
