Can I keep data partition when coming from LineageOS for microG?

I want to try /e/ on my old Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300). It currently runs with LineageOS for microG 14.1 (Android 7.1.2).
Can I keep the data partition if I flash the system partition with /e/?

No, the only way is using a backup of apps and app data via titanium backup pro or oandbackup

For other users coming by this thread: I am using 3C Toolbox Pro which turned out to be more reliable for data backups here than Titanium Backup.

Don’t know if it is better. But it has 4 trackers

Titanium has none

Update: As a test the developer has removed ads and tracker. Nevertheless you still need the pro key from Play Store for automatic backup. The dev is working on a Google-free version to be available in xda-labs.
