Can not use USB connectivity anymore

Hello,

I used to be able to connect via USB my phone on my laptop to transfer file or to use the 4G network to connect Internet. Now when i plugged the wire starts charging but i have no more the menu to choose if I want to transfer file or share my connection.
When i try to configure it in the parameters everything is greyed:

I have a Fairphone4, i try with two different cables on two different machines. I have update ‘e/os/’ to the latest version available: 2.6.3-u-20241217455359-official-FP4. Even in developer mode i could not activate this feature.
Do you have any ideas about this problem ?

My FP4 2.6.3 works fine transfering files to my laptop.
The “menu” is hidden. Try pulling down from the top of your screen where the buttons for Bluetooth, wi-fi, etc are.
The shotcut should appear below the buttons.

Thanks for your answer, made me recheck my hardware and it turns out to be that my first wire is no more functional and the second does not allow data transfer.
