There are many things to be careful of with Fairphone. No harm done though, it seems.
I suggest to read both the install page and @piero’s guide two more times, sleep on it and pick up again over the weekend.
I have the same problem. I went through all the process, until the last step. Really the last one one I push the bottem , connect. My computer see the phone but nothing happen. What sould I do

It is really depressing, I really want to change the system but it is starting to be really difficult for someone who is not informaticien at all.
I will try to see if physically I can find someone who can help me or I am going to abdicate…
The web installer installer fails for all sorts of different reasons for individual users. Please read a few of the threads with hashtag eosinstaller to see the difficulties of others.
There is no documented way to get a log of your progress so you need to give a lot more information to get help.
Much easier to change to the command line regular install instructions as already suggested.
