Cannot find a way to install the Edenred Italia app

Hi,

I’m a new /e/OS user and I’ve been able to install all the apps I had on my Google account. However, I cannot find a way to install the Edenred Italia app. It seems to not be available on the App Lounge and I can only find it when I try to install the Edenred USA one, which seems to redirect to the Play Store.

The app is not a paid one and I need it as my company provides us lunch vouchers. Any idea on how to fix it?

The device is a Pixel 7 with 2.9-t-20250321478215-official-panther /e/ OS version.

There are lots of Edenred apps.

Please write the package code.

for expample there is com.edenred.eq.bkchncitycoin

The APK name is com.edenred.mobiletr. Is this the one you are referring to?

Search for that package code and then you will find the app in AppLounge.

However, once installed the app gets stuck on a white screen after the tutorial carousel. Should I open another thread for it? Not sure what can be done about it, tbh.

White and nothing happens, means usually something is blocking the continuation of the app.

It could be AdvancedPrivacy which blocks trackers, I don’t use it properly therefore not sure how to help you there. If it is a tracker and it waits for a response but it is blocked there might be a timeout (turning off Internet might fasten the process)

There are actually 49 leaks detected but even disabling the trackers control does not change the white-screen-nothing-happens stage. Hope to understand how to make it work. In the meanwhile, thanks for the help, @mihi.

Good luck, when starting with e/OS/ if you are very lucky all your apps work. Good is like some of them don’t work.

If you can’t use the content of the app in a browser you need to think about if you really really need that app.

Yep, unfortunately it is possible to generate the lunch voucher code only via the mobile app.

/e/ OS has been fantastic so far, just this downside. I guess I will be needing a back-up phone with a google account, just in case.

Not only at trackers but take a look also at hide-my-IP in Advanced Privacy. I had to manage it for some of my apps to work.
