Cannot install apks from any source but applounge

I cant install any apks downloaded anywhere other than on the applounge. Does anybody know how to fix this? Using /e/os on my moto g5 5g 2024. Also cant use any security settings to lock my phone with a password or any other lock screen because apparently i already made one but i havent. Please help lol

This sounds quite like you left a Google account / sign in on your phone before you installed /e/OS. If that is likely the case you would have to go back to Stock Android ROM to remove any / all accounts.

Please check Settings > Search facility > Install unknown apps to see where this has been set “allowed”.
