Cannot log in to Youtube in app

Hey

I changed my phone from Android to e/OS by Fairphone gen.6 and I cannot log in to Youtube.
When I try, it shows me list of accounts and tells me to check my web connection. Other apps are working just fine, even those which I still use google as log in-contact.

Why is the Youtube -app only blocking me?

I have tried to re-install it and re-open my phone after install, checked the settings for not having any blocks, without the success.

There are many alternatives like NewPipe and LibreTube. There is also https://alternativeto.net

I would recommend Grayjay by FUTO. I like what they’re trying to do, and since you’re using /e/OS, you might too. Check them out!

Did you compare wifi to mobile-data? I have seen a few threads where a subset of Apps say “no internet”. It attracts different error causes though. If your report was based on mobile-data, does this advice help?

I have no issue running the Youtube App with an Account (/e/OS 3.1).
