I have recently installed e/OS on a Samsung s10+, Everything works smoothly except for the fact I can’t make any phone calls no receive normal SMS messages.
When I open Phone app or message app and call whatever number it may be nothing happens just says calling.
I Can send a text message however.
If i use Signal I can make calls, text but not on the generic phone app?
For reference yes my sim works on other phones and have had no issue
Samsungs can’t do VoLTE in customroms (there’s threads that explain more, some nuance on used SoC, but it’s “mostly”) - so you’d rely on 2G voice calls to be possible still with your provider.
That 2g option gets phased out increasingly, depending on country and provider (what do you use?).
(when I used a phone without VoLTE, friends and family adjusted when seeing me using Signal for calls and I had a SIP client for everything else)
