Can't pair with BOOM 3 Bluetooth speaker from Murena FP6

I’m trying to pair my Murena Fairphone 6 with a BOOM 3 Bluetooth speaker. /e/OS version 3.2.

The speaker is in pairing mode. I see it in the Bluetooth “Pair new device” settings and tap on it. I get a message:

“Can’t communicate with [MAC address of the speaker]”

Any ideas?

Previously I had similar effect on my FP5. Activating flight mode and deactivating, somehow reinitialised Bluetooth and connection was successful.

It may help in your case as well.
