I recently found out that some people who are not on any messaging apps I am on are not receiving regular SMS messages from me. Coincidentally the people in question are located in a different EU country from me and both use iPhones. Meanwhile I tried sending my partner a sms who also has iPhone but with a local phone number and it comes fine. Calling to those phone numbers works fine, receiving sms from them also works fine. Sending is an issue. Alternative messaging apps like Fossify messages also do not help.
Any way to fix this?

What company provides your SIM?
Did you contact them?
Can you text those contacts using another device but the same SIM?
Sorry, I have no solution but we had a similar issue: my lady (iphone, vodafone) could not text a friend (iphone) in a neighbour EU- country for quite some time - now it works again but we have no clue what caused nor what solved it…
The issue might well be not eOS-dependent.
Hi. It is a sim card from Odido NL. I did not contact Odido yet but I did try using the sim card with another phone and sending the same people a message and it works fine
