Change or switch off power+volume down screenshot combo?

When powering off FP6+/e/os , depending on how you handle the device one frequently hits volume down simultaneously and gets a screenshot. Clumsy indeed.

It would be convenient to disable or set another button combo. Is it possible ?

In more global way how can one tweak FP6 keys and buttons ? System/gestures menu options are a bit scarce imho.

In Fairphone’s own “Android OS”, the option to deactive this shortcut was introduced last month at Settings > System > Gestures > Screenshot shortcut. I do not know if /e/OS already took over this, but it might still come if it’s not there yet.

No such option for me. I could not find any option to turn of screenshots, I have the same problem that the button layout is bad or my handling of locking the phone, which results in many screenshots taken

Man, I’ve never had this problem with any of my phones in the past but the FP6 has really unfortunate volume buttons placement. Makes a camera shutter sound too - I’m gonna get beat up one day over this

There is a “Click to partial screenshot” toggle in the settings which opens a menu to crop the image, which is at least a bit less annoying because it doesn’t immediately save the screenshot nor make a sound.
