that took some digging, there’s this warning when you add a Google account
Murena will report a fake device model to Google to protect your privacy. You can check which one on Google’s Device Activity after you log in
- shown within AccountManager here → called from here → proceeds to the oauth2 flow with Cromite
- Cromite force enables this patch: Guard-for-user-agent-reduction.patch → I guess if you re-auth now I think you’ll see generic “Android”, not Pixel 2
