Connectivity issues

Hello, I am a new member of this forum and I’m contacting you because I have a problem with my Fairphone 5 with /e/OS 2.7 updated to the latest version.
I use my phone in Italy and often find myself having to reboot it to get internet connectivity working (both via mobile network with Iliad operator and wifi).
The phone is a couple of weeks old and despite following the advice to turn aeroplane mode on and off, reset the connectivity settings, clear and re-connect wifi, almost every day I find myself having to reboot the device to get the internet connection working properly. I usually use a VPN connection (Nord VPN) and have encountered this problem both with the VPN on and off. I don’t think this is the problem.
Have you already experienced this kind of problem? How can I solve it?
Thank you for your availability.

I have the same Problem since a few days on my FP4. Not sure if it was caused by the update to 2.7 since this was some days earlier, but I might just not have noticed.
I have no solution or workaround and it is very annoying.

I think I remember someone commenting that an update seemed to change Advanced privacy settings unexpectedly.

That’s why Hide My IP appears as a VPN in /e/OS.

Tonight my device was switched off. This morning it booted and showed all the expected network symbols but no connection did work, neither mobile nor wifi. I switched to flight mode and back, I did two reboots, nothing shows any effect, my phone is without any connection for two hours now. When I walk around I see changing and plausible wifi signal strength.

Until I switched it off yesterday everything was fine.

When I open RethinkDNS (my private VPN) it says in red “No Internet” on the main screen.

Update: in my case it’s the Rethink DNS server which seems to be down. When I switch to another one everything works. (Good to know …)
