Continuing the discussion from Data Migration option Murena, will it be re-enabled any time soon?: @Manoj @GaelDuval some update and clarification would be warmly appreciated from the Community :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Data migration from Google is really a Must Have on the migration path to /e/, to productively move and support mass migration around us. But there seems to be a blocker, no?

Do you mean the ability to migrate from Google cloud. It has been enabled. You can check the guide here

thanks a lot @Manoj , I’m ashamed that I deserve a good old RTFM :sweat_smile:

Looking closer, I see that the French version is lot more elaborated than the English one, and would have been clearer to me:

To get myself forgiven, I wanted to PR an update of the English version (+ some cross href), but seems I can’t fork e / documentation / user · GitLab :roll_eyes:
I don’t either yet understand how to PR/MR. Actually, it seems I can’t even set an avatar.

As a last side note, anything planned for Google Photos and Tasks/Notes Keep?
I see some Take out process refs, but streamlining this part too would pave the road even more to migration…
