Greetings, I am new to e.os/Murena, and am writing from California. I have a Murena A105 CMF Smart Phone. It has 3 different Murena Smart Phone optional contacts accounts to save contacts into: 1. For the Murena email account, 2. For the Murena cloud account, 3. For the Murena phone device. I am trying to figure out what these 3 accounts do, and how they differ from each other. I also would like to know which of these 3 accounts is most private and secure.And which accounts will sync with: 1. Murena email address book, 2. Murena texting app via TMobile, 3. Murena calling app via TMobile. I will greatly appreciate hearing from you, and thank you in advance for any advice anyone can share!
“On device” can / (should) include SIM card but as this became obsolete AOSP adopted extra on device storage space which (if I understand correctly) can hold contacts rather as SIM did.
I suggest playing with two particular options in Contacts App > Top left 3 bar Menu > Settings can help illuminate how thing work.
Currently contacts associated with the Murena Webmail app. Note the possibility of duplication depending how Webmail contacts are populated by the user, changes in progress.
