Difference community buid and official buid

Hello, and thank you to the community of developers who builds new versions of /e/os.
I’ve read on this forum that there were differences between official and community buils.
Could someone explain me what were them for the users.
I have a 2.8 T Dipper version of /e/OS, official is in U, but if the official was in T too, would there be differences ?

There is no ‘official’ e/OS/ build for dipper :thinking:

yes you’re right, I made a mistake, I saw that later. but the link from piero help me to clarify the differences between official and community builds.

But the community builds aren’t build by ‘community of developers’, it is the same e/OS/ developers as the official build.

(After reading your initial post again I thought I mention it)

Could be about the Open Source Android Developpement Community in general (AOSP, Lineage, XDA device specific… microG, /e/overlay …)

ok, the name can make some confusions.
I can see on the dipper page, that it’s maintained by /e/os team.
