I might want to buy a Pixel 9a or Pixel 9 and would like to get an idea of when an official build comes out! I would like to use the web installer because I don’t have the money to buy another one if something goes wrong.

Official builds come as part of every release. They are usually released a couple of days after the community builds are released. At present v3.6 release is in progress and the official builds should be published by mid of next week.

This is the information we do have.
No mention of eosinstaller; of the Different Build Types no mention of official.
Is it sure that tokay will become official ? The device is now available at a good price .

I think there is a misunderstanding. e has only released official versions for phones Murena has sold directly, new or refurbished.
The Pixel 9/9Pro/9a have never been sold through Murena and there is no official release for them.
And, unless Murena starts selling them or changes their approach, there won’t be an official release and web installer for these models…
If you want a Pixel phone, the Pixel 5, 7, 8 have official builds - so just get one of those.

Oh, sorry! I think it’s too big a risk to install a community build on the Pixel 9. I like using the web installer, so I think I’ll go for a refurbished Pixel 8.
