The recovery for herolte( for Samsung Galaxy 7) does not work even using easy-installer. I had to flash the twrp to complete the installation of the e/OS herolte

Twrp works as well to flash rom. So it’s not a major issue.
I agree, but it is a big
waste of time because the recovery associated to the e/OS does not work.
It did the same to me, and i just decided to switch to twrp, but some people find it convenient. What’s the nature of your issue ?
I personally prefer to have TWRP as recovery as it enable the Nandroid backup.
my problem that using recovery the device (Galaxy 7) was an unauthorized device when when I did adb devices. This also happens using easy installer or if you do it manually. Instead this does not happen with twrp.
I prefer twrp too, but I wanted to mention this to avoid to other persons to waste their time.
Look a bit on the internet for adb unauthorized device you should find some solutions. I faced this issue too and solved it using some tuto on xda or whatever.
