Hi, just installed the latest official /e/OS (3.2) on a new Fairphone 6 (Android). Asides from a lot of problems getting my WhatsApp data onto the phone, I cannot receive SMS which I need to setup banking etc. I can make and receive phone calls, as well as sending SMS. I checked the APN settings and everything seems to be correct. I have on eSIM installed. Anyone have any advice?

I do not know if it can help but can you try to send yourself a SMS ?
Can you double check that in default apps, the message app (or any other to your liking) is selected as sms app?
I tried but I didn’t receive anything - it shows as delivered but I don’t receive it. A friend sending me SMS from iPhone also shows them as delivered on their phone.
It is selected as the SMS app and has all permissions but unfortunately that hasn’t fixed it
Did you have an iPhone before? I am not an expert but is it possible iMessage (or maybe another sms over internet service) is interfearing and the messages arrive on your old phone?
Yes, I’m coming from iPhone. As far as I can tell, I already disabled iMessage and FaceTime from the settings on my iPhone. I logged out of both from my Mac so I’m not sure there is more I can do for that.
