/e/OS and (Google) Android Emergency Location Service (ELS)

Hi,

I wonder if deGoogled /e/OS implements ELS nativiement or if there’s a way of enabling/adding it? (parameter, software…)
Although it’s seem a Google service, that could be an interesting safety option if it isn’t already.

[ELS : Emergency Location Service | Android]

Thanks!

It’s not a very good answer but Wikipedia say that in UE, the State must use Advanced Mobile Location:

From March 2022 all smartphones sold in the EU Single Market must be equipped with AML, following a delegated regulation supplementing the Radio Equipment Directive
Delegated regulation - 2019/320 - EN - EUR-Lex

Supported operating systems

Google announced in July 2016 that all Android phones running version 2.3.7, Gingerbread (released in December 2010) or later include AML. Google calls their implementation Emergency Location Service (ELS) or Android Emergency Location Service (AELS); this needs to be enabled in phone settings.[7]

Apple devices, since March 2018, running iOS 11.3 or later also support AML.[8]

And an CJUE’s decision in 2019:
