I thought the exact same thing after I started the upload and saw how long it would take.

So here is another, more recent A14 GSI version that is compressed and easier to download

I’m so sad, this was working fine on my Moto G Stylus 2014, other than I couldn’t make phone calls or use SMS, but it didn’t bother me that much. Then I decided to go back to stock for a while, and haven’t been able to get e/os fully working again. I think I must have been running 2.8 which is no longer downloadable. On 2.9 I can’t pair with any bluetooth devices, and there is no GSI menu that I can find anywhere to apply the qualcom bluetooth workaround.

I’ll recompile the A14 version but it’ll take at least a week. One problem, however, is the upload space.

Thank you very much Mr Colors.

The first one boots and works fine for me, the second doesn’t boot. I tried to figure out what VNDKLite means but it’s still fuzzy to me.

If I understood correctly, it gives system read and write rights on partitions while on other versions they are only readable.

With the Treble Info app you find out if you have a VNDK device. I have not and have not tested if I could install. But it would be interesting to find out. Otherwise I have no idea if it works.

Oh, the first one is RW already.
