That’s great to have a group. Also a Matrix group could be bridged to Telegram, reaching users on both networks.

I believed you said Signal was more respectfull about data privacy and such. At least you must have said it once. Why not use Signal then ?

Hi @anon83572368 there was a thread where we had asked users for their preferences on messaging apps on /e/. The consensus was to remove signal and telegram from the default apps. Users wanted the option to select their own applications of choice. In line with that discussion it was decided to remove Signal and Telegram.
We will be taking this ‘User Decides’ argument - further. Future versions ( no E.T.A as of now) of /e / will have removable system apps.
