This is using the easy installer for Ubuntu; all the other instructions for this phone haven’t worked either.
The easy installer supports 5 devices as mentioned here. To support additional devices users from the community would have to update the code.
In this category you can see some of the development effort in progress to customize the easy-installer on various devices.
