EasyPark stopped working (again)

For your info: I just wanna mention that EasyPark seems to have updated their Android App so it works on /e/OS Reason for previous issues was (I think) that EasyPark used the Sinch SMS library to receive the verification SMS, but assumed that Google Services would display the incoming SMS. Since Google Services is not available, the verification SMS never got displayed, thus you could not register the EasyPark app on the phone. This seems to be fixed now Regain…

But as of August 2025, I can attest that EasyPark (again) does not send the SMS confirmation when using /e/OS.

Help would be appreciated.

Worked for me yesterday. On e/os 3.0.4 (A13) Bq Aquaris X.
Advanced Privacy, False Location = off, Hide ip = off.
MicroG = on.

I just cleared the cache and storage and set the permissions and tried again - still no luck

I’m on 3.0.4 too. FP3, bought from Murena.

Advanced privacy:

• trackers: blocked
• geo spoofing: off
• IP spoofing: off

microG self-check: all OK

EasyPark version 25.28.3

permissions:

• phone: allowed
• location: during app use
• notifications: allowed
• photo: during app use

I’m just guessing here… but in AP easypark has 4 trackers blocked. One of them.is braze.eu, wich function is described as:

customer engagement platform that helps brands send personalized messages across email, push, SMS, and in-app. It’s known for real-time data handling and cross-channel automation

That was a really good call, unfortunately it did not help.

I reset all trackers for EasyPark and disabled the blocking for all of them, cleared cache and storage and restarted the app.

And still no SMS

I had the same problem for several weeks. Today I tried again and it worked.

/e/OS 3.1.4 (SHIFTphone 8) and EasyPark version 25.36.2

I installed v. 25.40.3 and although it sent me the SMS with code, it continually told me that the code was incorrect after typing it.

What I did:

1. cleared cache and storage
2. turned off all tracker blocking for EasyPark app
3. Opened the App and it immediately showed a previously blocked page that I accepted. No additional SMS code entry was necessary suggesting it previously had worked, but that the subsequent page load was blocked and the message about the code being incorrect was false.
4. App then worked fine and registered with their servers - I could then add my car and payment.
5. Then I turned back on the tracker blocking. App continues to work.

Hope this works for others.
