I have an issue where my newly installed /e/OS does not seem to receive the nation wide emergency alerts. I have found other threads with this topic though no solution. So i want to reopen this in case anyone indeed has solved this issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G (SM-A528B) with its respective community build of /e/OS self installed to the device. Current newest version 3.1.1-a15-20250829521751-community.a52sxq.
The alert has worked on this device with the same sim card before on the factory installed android from samsung/google. After installing /e/OS i dont recieve any alerts. In the settings the Alerts are turned on by default except the test alerts which i turned on manually. Via adb i can confirm that i have the apps com.android.cellbroadcastreceiver, com.android.cellbroadcastservice and com.android.cellbroadcastreceiver.module installed with default permissions. The ui history does not show any sign of recieving any message either so it is not with the notification display of the alert but receiving the alert itsself
Does anyone have a working fix for this problem?
