Hello. I have the e on a FP3. How do I enter my phone number? I go to “about this phone” but when I tap on the SIM slot it does not go into edit mode.
When I check which apps have access to the location I see microG has permanent access although I never installed it. When I tap on it I get a message telling me I should got to the location settings to change access. This sounds a bit like the SIM is not recognized automatically. Or maybe it isn’t placed properly.
In any case: the “about phone” is information only. If you need to do any changes, that would be in Settings > Nertwork and Internet > Mobile network > select the SIM slot in question
